NORTENT Vern 1 PC 4 Season Backpacking Tent
NORTENT Vern 1 PC (polycotton) is a very spacious tent intended for 1 (1,5)person. With its 3,5 kilograms it is not the lightest solo tent. But keep in mind that the breathable polycotton fabric makes an inner tent redundant. Thus creating more space inside Vern 1 PC compared to a lighter nylon tent with same outside measurements, which has a necessary inner tent that narrows down the inside area. Optimal for the longer hikes in mountains and over open plains where you really need a reliable shelter against the elements. With its aerodynamic shape and many possibilities for anchoring the tent to the ground, this tent is a true friend which will keep you safe in the different elements. We believe you should not have to fight the elements but rather become one with and thrive in them.
Vern 1 PC is designed with clean and correct lines that blend in with nature. We have placed great emphasis on the tent being able to be set up quickly and easily without obstacles. With a little practice you should be able to set up the tent in 2-3 minutes where you can then crawl into a warm and safe sleeping bag.
All exposed areas on the outer fabric are reinforced with Dyneema. Dyneema is considered the world's strongest fibre. It is therefore entirely appropriate that we use this fabric fibere in our tents.

We have used a fabric that takes the best from two worlds, with the good properties of synthetic fabric and the good properties of cotton. With the Hybrid fabric consisting of polyester and cotton, we present a strong, breathable and relatively light fabric, compared to a 100% cotton canvas. This means that you can still pack the tent into the backpack, with the breathable and insulating properties of a cotton tent. To prevent the polycotton fabric from absorbing dirt and moisture from the ground, we have installed a very robust nylon section at the very bottom of the tent. This is able to withstand a rougher treatment where you may load it with snow and stones to make the tent even more stable in inclement weather.
Vern 1 PC has a total of 3 poles that crosses at different points. In addition to the fact that this tent is free-standing with three aluminium poles, Vern 1 PC provides a hugely strong construction that can withstand severe weather and heavy snow-load
