 We came across this generous 35lt rucksack (and the bumbag by the same company) purely by chance and wanted to bring it to the attention of customers who may require a waterproof rucksack from time to time.
Weighing only 750g the simple design gives you a lot of practical features and we feel the bag is ideal for a commuter, traveler, hiker, cyclist, kayaker or photographer who may have a special need to keep things dry.
There are three front pockets. One mesh map size, one 5 litre non-waterproof, and one with a rain flap and waterproof zip which makes it as waterproof as you can get.
There are two mesh side pockets, just big enough for a water bottle and two side compression straps.
Inside, down the back of the sack, there are a 'most useful' series of zipped pockets to keep wallets, keys, pens and small documents together, without having to 'hunt' for these important items.
The back system is frameless, however there is a certain amount of foam padding built into the back system internally. The shoulder harness has attachment points, a chest harness and a simple hip belt. There's a grab handle at the top.
The top of the bag uses a roll top enclosure, which when rolled, clips down to two buckles on the side.
The bag is made from durable waterproof material which feels very similar to Ortleib products so you can guess how tough it will be!
Sizing is the UK standard back length and suitable for someone with 17.5 - 19.5 inch back for the perfect fit.
Lots of useful simple features and brilliant value for money. The type of bag I would expect most users to suddenly feel they can't be without on the hill or in their day to day lives!
